An Evening With Sheikh Assim Al-Hakeem : "The Worth of A Mustard Seed" Fundraising dinner organized by Rizq Ar-Rahman, Shah Alam Convention Centre 4th November 2018.
Alhamdulillah Rizq Ar-Rahman managed to collect upwards of RM250k in support of funding their "yatim" charity programs, especially for the Aisyah Home in Penang. A beautiful dinner gathering attended also by Dr Zakir Naik, Sheikh Hussain Yee, Ustaz Kamilin and Dr Rozaimi, along with the heads of Yayasan Ta'lim and Dakwah Corner.
In his talk Sheikh Assim reminded us on the encouragement for sadaqah as an investment for our akhirah and its superiority in comparison to other good deeds. It was an important reminder to us that whatever wealth we keep, will be inherited by our heirs anyway. But whatever wealth we spend in the cause of Allah, will multiply, pile up and ultimately be our means of success on the Day of Judgment.
Many thanks and Jazakumullahu khayran to the organizing committee at Rizq Ar Rahman Charitable Labuan Foundation team for allowing me the opportunity to be part of and contribute in this event. It was an inspiring experience for me personally having the opportunity to meet and get acquainted with the awesome team of organisers working behind the scenes, knowing the impactful work they have done and are continuing to do for the betterment of the ummah as a whole: locally and internationally, and I hope more will contribute towards their great work. Here is hoping that I have more opportunities to contribute and work together with the team, and that Allah accepts and blesses all their good deeds, and grants them steadfastness in all their amal.
BarakAllahu fikum
